The UN has approved country programs for Turkmenistan from 2026 to 2030

The Executive Boards of UNDP, UNFPA, and UNICEF have approved new country programs for Turkmenistan covering the period from 2026 to 2030. These program concepts were developed in close collaboration with Turkmen officials.

The approved documents detail the implementation of various projects and initiatives across key areas of cooperation with UN agencies operating in Turkmenistan over the next five years. The country programs for UNDP, UNFPA, and UNICEF are strategic frameworks created by each UN agency for specific countries. They outline goals, priority areas, and mechanisms for collaboration with government institutions and other partners during the defined period.
