Turkmenistan’s 30th Anniversary of Permanent Neutrality Celebrated in Kabul

On 22 November 2025, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Afghanistan hosted a ceremonial reception dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality, the International Neutrality Day, and the International Year of Peace and Trust.

The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Kabul, as well as representatives of international organizations.

During the reception, participants were briefed on the events held in honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality, the International Neutrality Day, and the International Year of Peace and Trust. Information was also provided about the preparations for the International Forum scheduled to take place in Ashgabat this December.

Special attention was given to Turkmenistan’s major economic projects implemented in Afghanistan, including the TAPI gas pipeline, the TAP power transmission line, railway construction, and the fiber-optic communication system, as well as the humanitarian assistance regularly provided to the Afghan people.

Guests also watched video presentations highlighting Turkmenistan’s achievements at the international level.
