The "Turkmen Land – the Center of Ancient Civilizations" media forum will take place in Ashgabat on March 28. It is part of the celebrations for Anev being named the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024 and the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi. The media from TURKSOY member countries and partner countries of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for TV, radio, and movies are expected to attend this event. The forum will be divided into four parts - "The Unity of Turkic Culture and its Role in the Media", "The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi", "Digital Media and News", and "Films, Animations and Film Festivals". Visitors will go see old buildings, explore the sights of Ashgabat and visit the city of Arkadag. They are also planned to attend a big meeting about tourism in Turkmenistan and meet with students at Magtymguly Turkmen State University.
