Recently, the Embassy of Turkmenistan together with the Institute of Culture of the Economic Cooperation Organization (OEC) organized a cultural event in Tehran dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi. Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture and Islamic Orientation, vice-president of the Iranian Association of Cultural Artifacts and Monuments Alireza Habibi, head of the Tehran branch of the international diplomatic journal "AVA", head of the Turkmen cultural center in Iran Ali Rahbar took part in the event from the Iranian side. This was reported by MFA of Turkmenistan.

During the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Saad Khan, the President of the Institute of Culture of the OES, addressed the audience with welcoming remarks. Diplomats of the Embassy informed the participants about the efforts undertaken by the Government of Turkmenistan to study and preserve the immortal heritage of the Turkmen classics, which is reflected in the motto of the current year of our country “Fount of Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi.”
