The III International chemistry olympiad begins in Turkmenistan

The International Chemistry Olympiad, organized by the Magtymguly Turkmen State University, has brought together students and scientists from around the world. The event aims to promote interest in chemistry and strengthen international scientific collaboration.

The competition is divided into two categories:

    •    Group A: Students specializing in chemistry solve problems in inorganic, physical, and organic chemistry.

    •    Group B: Students with general chemistry knowledge complete tests and written assignments.

Each participating institution can enter teams of four students (undergraduate or professional level) and one supervisor (4+1 format).

On November 27, as part of the Olympiad, an international scientific-practical conference titled “Modern Improvement of Chemistry Teaching Methods and Current Advances in Chemical Technologies” will be held. Professors and researchers from universities in Turkmenistan and other countries will participate.

This Olympiad makes a significant contribution to advancing international cooperation and enhancing education by bringing together scientists, educators, and students from various countries. The results will be announced on November 30, and winners will be awarded medals and diplomas.
