The successful implementation of the initiatives put forward by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the development of our country depends on the material and equipment base of the scientific and education system, which plays a key role in providing high-level personnel for the sectors of the economy, and on the modern teaching methods.

“Concept for improving teaching methods in general education programs in Turkmenistan until 2028” is a document aimed at consistently improving the goals, objectives, and modern approaches to teaching methodologies at all levels of education and ensuring that teaching complies with national and world practice and international standards. It consists of an introduction and 8 chapters.

This document defines work aimed at ensuring the continuity and interconnectedness of education provided in children’s institutions and secondary schools, bringing educational services in line with international standards, and forming a comprehensively educated, intellectually developed younger generation.

The new Concept In the field of education also declares the adoption of practical measures aimed at deepening professional knowledge by expanding the range of training of teaching staff, improving the content and forms of training based on new technologies, and introducing into the national education system indicators of international programs that assess the quality of education.

Advanced training courses will provide an opportunity for the country's teaching staff to familiarize themselves with modern approaches in planning and conducting lessons, methods, and techniques for using innovative pedagogical technologies in the educational process, methods for developing and implementing digital educational resources, approaches to the development of mathematical literacy and teaching the creatively gifted children, as well as other relevant topics. Based on this, the courses will contribute to successfully implementing the goals and objectives of the "Concept of improving teaching methods in general education programs in Turkmenistan until 2028".

Let us remind you that the new Concept was approved by a special Resolution of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on May 25.
