The 12th Taekwondo Cup of the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea was successfully held in Turkmenistan, becoming a significant event in the country's sports calendar. The competition, which took place in Ashgabat, brought together 178 athletes from various regions of the country.

As noted, athletes from Mary Velayat, Dashoguz Velayat, Lebap Velayat and Ashgabat city distinguished themselves with their high level of skill and responsible performances. The competitions were conducted in a fair and friendly atmosphere, reflecting the dedication and hard work of the athletes and their coaches.

The results of the competition were as follows:

• Ashgabat city secured 19 first places;
• Mary Velayat earned 11 first places;
• Dashoguz Velayat won 1 first place.

The team from Ashgabat, coached by Toyly Amangeldiev, a 5th-year student at Magtymguly Turkmen State University, stood out with their exceptional performance. All athletes who participated successfully in the competition were awarded trophies and gifts by the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea.

The Taekwondo Cup of the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, now in its 12th edition, has become an important event in Turkmenistan's sports calendar, further strengthening cultural and sports ties between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea.
