Turkmenistan and the Republic of Rwanda Establish Diplomatic Relations

On July 14, Turkmenistan and the Republic of Rwanda officially established diplomatic relations during a signing ceremony held at Turkmenistan’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York, according to the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.

Prior to the signing, Turkmenistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Aksoltan Atayeva, and Rwanda’s Permanent Representative, Martin K. Ngoga, held discussions on opportunities for enhancing bilateral and multilateral collaboration.

During the meeting, Atayeva also reaffirmed Turkmenistan’s invitation for Rwanda to take part at a high level in the upcoming Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3).

Both delegations concluded the event by congratulating their respective governments and citizens, emphasizing the significance of this diplomatic step in fostering stronger ties and laying the foundation for a long-term partnership.
