During his official visit to the Italian Republic, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the Turkmen–Italian Business Forum held in Rome. The meeting focused on strengthening economic cooperation and expanding partnerships in various sectors. About this report, the official media of Turkmenistan.

Following the forum, several documents were signed between Turkmen and Italian representatives. Among them were a Confidentiality Agreement between the State Cybersecurity Service under the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan and “Leonardo-Societa per azioni”; and a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan and the same company. Additionally, the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan signed several Memorandums of Understanding with Italian companies “Marzoli Machines Textile S.M.L.”, “Itema S.p.A”, “MCS dyeing & finishing machinery”, and “Savio Maccine Tessili S.p.A” on cooperation in the textile sector.

The Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan and the Italian company “Pietro Fiorentini S.p.A” also signed a Memorandum of Understanding. An exhibition of Turkmen-made products was organized as part of the event. The successful holding of the Turkmen–Italian Business Forum demonstrated both sides’ readiness to move beyond achieved results and to open new areas of cooperation.
