In Ashgabat, the third anniversary of the Charitable Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship was celebrated with solemn events at the newly opened "Arkach" shopping and leisure center. Young citizens who received treatment through the foundation, along with children raised in the State Palace and schoolchildren from different countries participating in an international mathematics Olympiad, took part in the events.

The foundation, established on March 29, 2021, has supported 260 operations for children in need, providing healthcare facilities and preventive screenings. It also gives valuable gifts to athletes representing the country in international competitions. The Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Children's Health and Rehabilitation Center, opened last year, is the only healthcare institution in the region built under the foundation's auspices.

Additionally, the foundation has provided humanitarian aid to children in Turkey, Afghanistan, the Primorsky Krai region of Russia, and Ukraine and Palestine.
