President Serdar Berdimuhamedov: "The state budget plays a crucial role in economic planning."

At a meeting of the Halk Maslahaty in Turkmenistan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that this year, substantial funding has been allocated in the country’s main financial document for the advancement of education, healthcare, and cultural systems, as well as for the construction of production and social infrastructure. About this report Turkmenistan: Golden Age.

It was noted that 67.8% of investments are directed towards production facilities, while 32.2% is allocated for social facilities. This allocation ensures the effective use and development of the state budget’s expenditure. Additionally, the revenue side of the budget has increased, driven by economic reforms that promote innovative development and enhance the private sector’s role.

President Berdimuhamedov also mentioned that reforms aimed at improving banking services and stabilizing the national currency’s exchange rate have contributed to monetary stability and economic growth. He announced that starting January 1 of the upcoming year, salaries for budget-funded employees, staff at self-supporting enterprises, public associations, pensions, state benefits, and scholarships for students and trainees will increase by 10%.
