President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the “SCO+” summit held in China. The meeting discussed expanding cooperation in peace, sustainable development, transport and logistics, energy, communications, trade, and humanitarian areas. This was reported by Turkmenistan: Golden Age.
The Head of State emphasized Turkmenistan’s long-standing tradition of engagement with the SCO and reaffirmed support for new international initiatives.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed Turkmenistan’s readiness to jointly develop projects on transport corridors, Trans-Caspian routes, rail and maritime transport, energy, and industrial cooperation, while inviting SCO member states to Ashgabat for the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality.
President Berdimuhamedov highlighted the importance of humanitarian cooperation and reaffirmed Turkmenistan’s commitment to friendship and good-neighborly relations.
