On November 3–4, 2025, the National Tourist Zone Awaza on the Caspian coast will host the International Conference and Exhibition “Development of Construction, Industry, and Energy Sectors of Turkmenistan” (CIET-2025).
More than 300 representatives from Japan, Turkey, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, and other countries have already registered to participate. Organizers describe the event as a key platform for Turkmen entrepreneurs to establish partnerships with companies from around the world. Several foreign companies will visit Turkmenistan for the first time.
High-level participants will include Eisaku Ito, President and CEO of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries; Ahmet Çalık, Chairman of Çalık Holding; Erman Ilıcak, Chairman of the Board of Rönesans Holding; Tomohiro Takashina, Director of Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. Turkmenistan Office; and Richard Dion, Senior Advisor for Partnerships and Donor Relations at CONNEX Support Unit.
Within the framework of CIET-2025, foundation-laying ceremonies for major infrastructure projects, interactive sessions on smart construction, clean energy, and sustainable industrial development, as well as an exhibition of new technologies, will be held. The event will coincide with Construction and Industrial Workers’ Day in Turkmenistan, adding a festive spirit to the occasion.
