On International Women's Day, Ashgabat held ceremonies to honor mothers and large families, as reported by TDH. 

Mothers who gave birth and raised eight or more children were awarded the title "Ene mähri". Large families were presented with keys to new apartments. Turkmenistan celebrates the day by following national customs and recognizing the significant role of women in creating a new era of a powerful state. Protecting women's interests and rights is important for sustainable development. The state provides support to large families to improve their living conditions. The participants expressed gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the progressive transformations he has implemented in the country.
