Recently, a business forum of Turkmen-Japanese small and medium-sized entrepreneurs was held in Tokyo, Japan. This was reported by Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.

More than 30 leaders and representatives of the Turkmen side and 100 representatives of the Japanese side took part in the forum, held in the building of the Japan Foreign Trade Organization. At the beginning of the forum, the head of the Japan Foreign Trade Organization Norihiko Ishiguro, the State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan Ryosukr Kozuke, and the executive director of the Turkmen-Japanese Joint Commission on Trade and Industry Masumi Hara spoke.

During the forum, the Turkmen side invited Japanese small and medium-sized businesses to cooperate. In this regard, it was proposed to study the possibility of opening a trade mission of Turkmenistan in Japan and consider the possibility of opening a representative office of the Japan Foreign Trade Organization in Turkmenistan.
