Our beloved Homeland, Turkmenistan, is celebrating the 33rd anniversary of its Independence with grand festivities. The ceremonial parade has begun on the square in front of the State Tribune.

In the morning, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov participated in a flower-laying ceremony at the Independence Monument. Members of the Government, leaders of the Mejlis, heads of military and law enforcement agencies, heads of ministries and state management bodies, representatives of public organizations, mayors of the regions and Ashgabat, as well as foreign diplomats and guests, took part in this event.

On the eve of the celebration, award ceremonies were held in the capital in honor of the 33rd anniversary of Independence, where distinguished employees were honored. According to the decrees signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, citizens of the country were awarded Orders, Medals, and Honorary Titles of Turkmenistan.
