231 convicted citizens were pardoned on the occasion of the International Day of Neutrality

Ahead of the International Day of Neutrality, celebrated on December 12, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree pardoning 231 convicted citizens. The decision was announced during an expanded Cabinet meeting on December 6. About report Turkmenistan: Golden Age.

 

The President of Turkmenistan noted that the tradition of pardoning reflects Turkmenistan’s long-standing humanitarian values, allowing those who sincerely repent to return to normal life.

 

The pardoned individuals will be released and reunited with their families in the near future. The President of Turkmenistan wished them honest work and a dignified life, emphasizing that this act once again demonstrates Turkmenistan’s commitment to principles of humanity and compassion.
