Turkmenistan has sent humanitarian aid to Afghanistan to support children and residents affected by the recent earthquake. The cargo, consisting of textiles, food, clothing, and essential goods, was dispatched from Ashgabat International Airport to Kabul by order of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The aid was provided on behalf of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. This continues Turkmenistan’s longstanding tradition of supporting those in need.
At the handover ceremony in Kabul, Afghan representatives expressed deep gratitude to Turkmenistan’s leadership and people, noting that such assistance strengthens good-neighborly relations and inspires hope among the affected population.
