The Days of Economy of Turkmenistan began on Thursday in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, bringing together representatives from both countries to explore new opportunities for partnership. The event, held on October 30–31, focuses on expanding bilateral cooperation across various sectors.
Participants are discussing a broad range of issues, including trade and investment, transport and logistics connectivity, and joint initiatives in the energy sector. Special attention is also being given to the development of a green economy, innovations in digital transformation, and the enhancement of e-government systems. Cooperation in agriculture and effective water resource management are highlighted as key priorities.
The forum has brought together delegates from more than 50 major German companies, financial institutions, and industrial associations, along with 51 companies and government bodies from Turkmenistan. German participants include well-known corporations such as Deutsche Bank AG, Commerzbank AG, BOMAG GmbH, CLAAS GmbH, John Deere International GmbH, BASF-Intertrade, among others. Also involved are the Eastern Committee of the German Economy, the German Agribusiness Alliance, Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI), and the Frankfurt Economic Development Agency.
