A new educational building and social facilities of the Turkmen State Energy Institute were inaugurated in Mary. The building, designed for 2,000 students, includes classrooms, laboratories, an R&D center on renewable energy, IT zones, a cybersport room, a robotics and AI lab, libraries, and a 500-seat conference hall.
An 800-bed dormitory and a modern sports facility were also opened, equipped with training halls and gyms. Solar and wind stations were installed to supply power to the complex.
The project was carried out by the private company “Rowshen.” At the ceremony, the facilities received international certificates of compliance with high standards. Cooperation agreements were also signed with Germany’s Clausthal University of Technology and Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg.
On September 1 – the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth – several new schools and kindergartens were also opened across Turkmenistan.
