Turkmenistan's President Serdar Berdimuhamedov announced during a government meeting via video conference that cotton sowing will begin on March 20 in four out of five regions of the country. The President noted that the approaching sowing season is an important task for the cotton growers of Turkmenistan. The respected elders of the nation have been requested to begin this responsible agricultural campaign with the words "Bismillah!" by the established good tradition. The President gave his blessing to start cotton sowing on March 20 in Ahal, Balkan, Lebap, and Mary velayats and on March 27 in Dashoguz velayat. He also wished courageous cotton growers and all agricultural workers great success in their work.
