Turkmenistan's Arkadag and Tajikistan's Khujand become twin cities

The State News Agency of Turkmenistan has reported that the first "smart" city of Turkmenistan, Arkadag, and one of the oldest cities in Tajikistan, Khujand, have become sister cities.

An agreement to establish sister-city relations between the two cities was signed following negotiations between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, in Dushanbe.

It is worth noting that several significant bilateral documents were signed during the negotiations, aimed at strengthening the Turkmen-Tajik partnership in various fields.
