Magtumguly Pyragy is Fount of Mind

Turkmenistan boasts a rich literary heritage stretching back centuries. Magtymguly Pyragy, a shining star of our classical literature, continues to inspire us with his powerful poems. This 18th-century poet played a pivotal role in shaping the Turkmen literary language and enriching our classical literature. His vast and profound work is a true treasure trove. All Turkmens cherish Magtymguly Pyragy's legacy. His timeless words of wisdom and guidance are invaluable. Numerous scholarly works and publications explore his enduring impact. The vast ocean of his work continues to offer endless depths of meaning.

 

In honor of Magtymguly Pyragy's 300th anniversary, our esteemed leader, Hero Arkadag, penned a beautiful poem titled "Magtumguly Pyragy's Fount of Mind." This poem serves as a precious gift to our nation, particularly to our literary tradition. The line "At the foothills of the Kopetdag stood today at full height, His Highness Magtymguly Pyragy" exemplifies Hero Arkadag's deep respect for the poet's legacy.

 

Hero Arkadag further elevates Magtymguly Pyragy's stature by addressing him as "His Highness" in the poem. This gesture recognizes him as a towering figure who reigns supreme in the hearts of all and the world of poetry. Every line of "Magtumguly Pyragy's Fount of Mind" brims with profound meaning. Magtymguly Pyragy embodied the greatness of the Turkmen people. He dedicated his life to serving his community. His works transcend national borders and enrich the global cultural landscape. The grand celebration of Magtymguly Pyragy's 300th birthday reflects Hero Arkadag's immense respect for great thinkers. This celebration, spearheaded by Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Serdar, stems from their deep love for Magtymguly Pyragy, a love shared by all Turkmens.

 

Under their leadership, extensive research into Magtymguly Pyragy's life and work is flourishing. Hero Arkadag acknowledges Magtymguly Pyragy's mastery of artistic expression, calling him "a great thinker and poet, whose name has reigned in the world of poetry with the power of the word."

 

We extend our heartfelt wishes for continued good health, longevity, and success to Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Serdar.
