The Energy University of Turkmenistan is organizing a CyberHack hackathon competition

The State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan is inviting students from secondary vocational and higher educational institutions in the country to participate in the "CyberHack" intellectual hackathon competition. The competition is scheduled to take place online on April 26 and 27. This was reported by the official media of Turkmenistan.

Each educational institution can nominate one team consisting of three participants to take part in the hackathon. The competition's topic will be "Software implementation of cryptographic methods of information protection in a digital environment." The hackathon's work will be aimed at testing students' skills in the field of target software development. The teams will be given between 3 to 5 hours to complete the tasks, based on their level of complexity.

During the competition, the judging panel will evaluate the students' working methods, technological literacy of each type of activity, timeliness, and correctness of the work. The finished works will be evaluated based on criteria such as the effectiveness of the completed task using standard cryptographic calculations; the choice of programming language; the availability of open-source software and its size; orientation, clarity, and the software's convenience of use for ordinary users. The competition's jury will also take into account the quality of the presentations of the participants' works.

The winners of the hackathon, who will be ranked I, II, and III, will be awarded certificates of honor and valuable gifts.
