A new educational initiative, Bahasa Club, has been launched at the Diller Dünýäsi Language Center in Ashgabat, focusing on the study of Malay and Indonesian languages. The first session has already brought together young people interested in expanding their linguistic and cultural horizons.
During the inaugural lesson, participants were introduced to the basics of Malay and Indonesian, including their vocabulary, pronunciation features, and role in international communication. Special attention was also given to the cultural aspects of Southeast Asian countries, helping attendees gain a deeper understanding of the language environment.
The session was led by Merdan Atayev, Coordinator of the Young Entrepreneurs Center under the Ashgabat City Committee of the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. He highlighted the growing importance of language skills in the personal and professional development of youth.
The project is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Diller Dünýäsi Language Center, the Young Entrepreneurs Center, and the Information, Consulting and Volunteer Activities Center of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly.
Classes are held on a regular basis every Wednesday at 3:00 p.m., offering a structured program that combines language learning with cultural exploration.
